The China International Import Fair, which will be held on November 5-10, 2023 in the People's Republic of China, the world's second largest economy, offers great opportunities to companies that want to get a larger share from China's annual $2 trillion imports.

Turkish Tastes will extend to China

Reminding that they are carrying out a TURQUALITY Project called “Turkish Tastes” to increase the export of Turkish food products with the support of our Ministry of Commerce, Eskinazi said, “We are maintaining an intense promotional program in the USA within the scope of our Turkish Tastes project. We plan to have a similar leg of this project in China. In this project, while Turkish cuisine was taught as a course at the University of Las Vegas, social media phenomena and famous chefs introduced Turkish flavors to Americans. As a result of these promotional activities, our food exports to the USA increased by 100 percent from 700 million dollars to 1 billion dollars. We are in preparation for a project that will increase the awareness and preference of Turkish food products in China. An important opportunity to increase our exports to China at the China International Import Fair. We invite our Turkish exporters to take advantage of this opportunity.”

The China International Import Expo was held in 2022 on a total exhibition area of ​​360.000 m2. 128 companies and more than 2.800 professional visitors from 460.000 countries attended. The Ministry of Commerce supports fair participation
