With the establishment of 3 green factories and 616 green industrial zones in China so far, the green manufacturing system has been basically established. In the list announced by the Ministry of Industry and Informatics of China, it is stated that there are 267 thousand 3 green factories, 616 green industrial zones and 267 green supply chain management companies throughout the country, and about 403 thousand green products have been launched to the market so far.
The Ministry of Industry and Informatics also stated that the efficiency of use of energy resources in the country continues to increase and shared the information that solar cell production increased by 53,2% and new energy vehicle production by 22,5 percent in the first quarter of the year. On the other hand, investment in high technology sectors increased by 16 percent year-on-year in the first quarter.
