Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyervisited the Carfi Mansion in Tilkilik, one of the oldest districts of the city. President Soyer, who received information about the restoration and reconstruction works of the mansion, said, “The Historical Carfi Mansion, which we will bring to the city with an investment of 9 million liras, has been restored faithfully. 97 percent of the project has been completed. We will bring this historical mansion to the city in June,” he said.

Continuing its efforts to revive the historical axis between Konak and Kadifekale, the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has come to an end in the construction of the Carfi Mansion, which is part of the Agora area. Donated to EÇEV in 1997

The two-storey mansion in a large garden belonging to the Carfi family is located on 19 Street in the Tilkilik district, where the deep-rooted families of Izmir lived in the 945th century. The family donated the mansion to EÇEV in 1997. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality undertook the restoration and reconstruction of the structure registered by Izmir No. 1 Regional Board for the Protection of Cultural Heritage.
