ASKİ Performed 40 Thousand Grid Cleanings in May

The General Directorate of ASKİ continues uninterruptedly with grid, chimney and line cleaning and infrastructure works throughout the city in order to prevent floods and floods that may occur due to strong torrential rains in the capital. In May, the teams cleaned a total of 40 thousand grills, 2 thousand 29 chimneys and 188 thousand 692 lines.

Ankara Water and Sewerage Administration (ASKİ) General Directorate has increased its measures to prevent floods and floods that occur as a result of regional heavy rains.

ASKİ teams carry out infrastructure renewal work simultaneously in many points of the Başkent, from grid cleaning to the renewal of rain water and waste water lines.

The officials of ASKİ, which cleans the wastes that come with precipitation throughout the capital, warn the citizens not to throw their garbage into the grid and rainwater lines in order not to cause blockages.
