Şanlıurfa Science Center Will Make a Difference in Science and Technology

In Şanlıurfa, which has trained many explorers in the field of science and where the world's first university is located, Şanlıurfa Science Center, which will provide great opportunity for young people to be closely interested in science in the age of technology and to train new scientists, has come to an end.

Şanlıurfa Science Center, which aims to bring together individuals from different age groups and with different backgrounds with science, and to raise awareness in the field of science and technology through experimental and applied activities, will encourage individuals to experiment and explore.

Contrary to the classical concept of a museum, which consists of forbidden objects on display behind glass showcases in quiet environments, Şanlıurfa Science Center will offer its visitors a navigable, testable and dynamic environment.

Thanks to the mathematics, woodworking and design, robotics and coding, biology and chemistry, STEM and astronomy workshops that will take place in the Science Center, the way for scientific learning in Şanlıurfa will be provided for all age groups.

The Science Center built near the Olive Branch Education Campus in Şanlıurfa within the scope of the project supported by TÜBİTAK, which was brought to the city with the initiatives of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül, will be put into service very soon.

Şanlıurfa Science Center, which will become a popular place for students due to its location in the Schools District, will complement the education of children and young people at school. It is expected that young visitors will also contribute to being responsible individuals who can make decisions on their own.

Şanlıurfa Science Center, which was established on an area of 51 thousand 402 square meters, has a landscape area of 40 thousand square meters, and the closed area in the project is designed to be 9 thousand square meters. Having completed the exterior works and landscaping, the teams meticulously continue the interior furnishing of the science center.

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality has come to an end in the construction of the Science Center, which was started near the Zeytin Dalı Education Campus in order to ensure that the children and youth of the city are kneaded on the basis of science and look to the future with hope.
