Ömer Koçağ 'Paper Works' Exhibition Opened

Ömer Koçağ's personal exhibition titled “Paper Works” met with art lovers at Evrim Art Gallery on April 1, 2023.

Artist Ömer Koçağ expressed his thoughts on the exhibition with these words: “Paper Works; This is a selection of my sketchbooks covering ten years. I am very excited to present to art lovers about 40 works that I have drawn using acrylic and ink. I invite all art lovers to my exhibition.”

It is possible to visit the exhibition at Evrim Art Gallery until April 17, 2023.

Who is Ömer KOÇAĞ?

Omer Kocag

Ömer Koçağ was born in Sivas in 1982. He graduated from Sakarya University Mechanical Engineering Department in 2007. He met the painter Mesut Eren in 2008 and participated in workshops. Koçağ, who started to deal with painting at a young age, is based on figurative painting in which he depicts human states. 2021 Nuri İyem Painting Awards – Evin İyem Special Jury Award was given to Koçağ for his work titled “Tale for Arabesque No. 2 by Debussy”. In addition to solo and group exhibitions, he paints the covers of various magazines and books. Rembrandt, Goya, Turner and Daumier are among the painters he inspired. He continues his studies in Istanbul.
