Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport welcomed the first flight of Luxair from Luxembourg with a ceremony. Operated by TAV Airports, Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport welcomed the Luxair flight from Luxembourg with a water ring. 737 passengers arrived in Izmir on the flight with Boeing B800-186 type aircraft. Passengers were greeted with flowers at the terminal. Luxair will organize reciprocal flights between Izmir and Luxembourg every Thursday until October 26, 2023.

We anticipate that the number of direct flights, which gained momentum in 2022 with the decrease of the effects of the epidemic, will continue to increase in 2023. We are working in cooperation with our stakeholders for new destinations that will connect İzmir to the world.”
