ERG Group, one of Turkey's most established companies, is now carrying its knowledge and experience to the Balkans with the Ankara - İzmir High Speed ​​​​Train Project. The Group, which was founded in Ankara in 1966 and turned its route abroad in 2018, carries out new projects in the international arena.

The new route of ERG Group, one of Turkey's most established contracting companies, was the Balkans. ERG Group, which was established in Ankara and has focused on growing abroad in recent years, is preparing to carry its experience to the Balkans with the Ankara-İzmir High Speed ​​​​Train Project, which draws attention with its length of more than 503 kilometers and passes through the provincial borders of Ankara, Eskişehir, Afyonkarahisar, Uşak, Manisa and İzmir.

While the work on the Ankara - İzmir High Speed ​​​​Train Project, which will provide employment for 10 thousand people and income for 40 thousand people, continues, ERG Group has also been the choice of the Balkan countries. Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, one of the two entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and ERG International Ltd. Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Sani Erbilgin signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Banja Luka, the second largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Doboj – Tuzla – Zvornik railway network will be improved

Serbian President Dodik and ERG International Ltd. The memorandum of understanding, which was signed as a result of the meetings of the British representatives in the last two months, was signed with the aim of developing and improving the railway network.

In the statement made after the signatures were signed, it was stated that one of the aims of the memorandum of understanding is to contribute to the progress of the developing cooperation through the reconstruction, electrification, signalization and modernization of the Doboj - Tuzla - Zvornik railway line.

Project Studies have started

Following the signing of the memorandum of understanding in mid-March, the members of the board of directors and executives met with the representatives of the ERG Group at the meeting held at Republika Srpska Railways in Doboj. The second meeting, held in Doboj, was held to discuss the needs of Republika Srpska Railways and the future of the project for the revision and reconstruction of the Doboj – Petrovo Novo and Caparde – Zvornik railway sections. The project includes the execution of the lower and upper railway machinery, signaling, telecommunication and electrification works. Within the scope of the talks, visits were made to the Doboj – Petrovo Novo and Caparde – Zvornik railways.
