Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA hit a precise hit from 230 kilometers in the test fire it carried out with the nationally developed İHA-140 missile, which was launched for the first time from an aircraft.

Within the scope of Bayraktar AKINCI Project, carried out under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries, the integration of locally produced new ammunition and systems into Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, which was developed nationally and originally by Baykar, continues successfully.

The test firing of the İHA-230 Missile, Turkey's first air-to-ground supersonic missile developed by Roketsan, on Friday, March 31, 2023, was successfully completed. Bayraktar AKINCI, who took off from the AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, went to Sinop to conduct a long-range fire test. The KKS/ANS guided UAV-230 Missile, fired by Bayraktar AKINCI in the Sinop Shooting Range, hit the point 140 kilometers away on the Black Sea with a direct hit.

DETERMINATION INCREASED

Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA hit its target once again with a supersonic missile as part of the test fire. The UAV-230 missile, which has its own propulsion power, will be able to show effectiveness against targets kilometers away from the TİHA with its long range and high hit rate. Thus, Bayraktar AKINCI's deterrence increased even more, as the ammunition he used diversified in terms of quality and quantity.
