WORKERS WERE PREPARING TO STRIKE

According to the news of Cihan Arpacik from Independent Turkish, it was predicted that the possible strike would bring life to a deadlock in Istanbul, where more than 15 million Istanbul residents live and which hosts tourists from all over the world. IMM, which signed a collective agreement with the Railway Workers Union representing the workers, agreed to give the workers a 70 percent raise for this year.

SALARY INCREASE AND SOCIAL RIGHTS

After the hike, the gross salary of the workers who received a gross salary of 15 thousand 497 liras was brought to 26 thousand 446 liras. Workers who receive a gross salary of 10 thousand 588 liras will receive 18 thousand liras from now on.

For the year 2023, 2 thousand 110 lira combined social assistance, 80 lira net meal allowance, 140 thousand XNUMX gross clothing and protective goods aid will be given to the workers for the year XNUMX.

According to the collective agreement, workers will receive a net aid of 4 lira in natural disasters, and a marriage allowance of 550 lira will be given to them if they get married. The amount to be paid to workers with children will be 2 liras.
