Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to expand the kiosks that sell bread at affordable prices to the residents of the Capital. 7 People's Bread Buffets, 13 of which will be put into service for the first time, in Altındağ, Etimesgut, Ayaş, Çankaya and Keçiören districts, found their new owners with the drawing of lots held at the People's Bread Factory. After the last drawing held in the presence of a notary public, the number of bread kiosks increased to 429.

7 People's Bread Buffets, 13 of which will be put into service for the first time, found their new owners with the drawing of lots held at the General Directorate of Public Bread and Flour Factory Meeting Hall.

13 BREAD BOATS WILL BEGIN TO SERVE

A lottery was drawn in the presence of a notary public for 13 People's Bread Buffets, which were given the right to operate in order to support especially low-income citizens residing in the capital.

In line with the transparent management approach, 178 people applied for the lottery, which was broadcast live on ABB TV and social media accounts.

1 bread kiosk in Altındağ, 2 in Etimesgut, 1 in Çankaya, 2 in Keçiören and 1 in Ayaş district will start serving for the first time.

While they were delivered to their new owners in 6 kiosks whose contracts were terminated or closed, the number of Halk Bread Buffets, where bread was sold at affordable prices throughout Ankara, reached 429 after the last Quran.
