The Seaeye-Octopus system continues to enter the inventory on different platforms of the Naval Forces. The Denizgözü-Octopus system developed by ASELSAN continues to enter the inventory on different platforms of the Naval Forces. The Denizgözü-Octopus system was developed specifically for naval platforms, taking into account the needs of the Naval Forces Command's Electro-Optical Dayrector (EOD) System. It was designed to be used instead of the ASELFLIR-300D system and was offered to the Turkish Armed Forces with the prototype products delivered in 2018.

The development of the Denizgözü-AHTAPOT system, the first two prototypes of which were integrated and actually used on the MİLGEM 3rd and 4th ships, started in 2015 with ASELSAN's own resources. Within the scope of the contracts signed at the end of the activities carried out during a five-year development process, the Sea-Eye-Octopus system entered the service of the Turkish Navy as the basic EOD System. Factory acceptance tests of the first two Sea-Eye-Octopus systems, the last of which will be delivered in 2025, were completed at the Akyurt campus of the Microelectronic Guidance and Electro-Optics (MGEO) Sector Presidency.

The use of the Denizgözü-Octopus system continues to increase in all new generation destroyers and support ships, including TCG-BURGAZADA, TCG-KINALIADA and TCG-ANADOLU. It is aimed that the Sea-Eye-Octopus system, which is a world-class electro-optical dyrector that has been developed with domestic and national resources, will be the representative of our country in marine electro-optics in the friendly and allied navies in the coming years.
