Sabiha Gökçen Airport was selected as the “Most Technological Brand in the Airport” by consumer votes at Tech Brands Turkey, which rewards the most technological brands of Turkey.

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (İSG), the second largest airport in Turkey, was awarded the “Most Technological Brand in the Airport” award at Tech Brands Turkey. Continuously improving its service and technology infrastructure for passenger satisfaction, ISG was chosen as the leading brand in the airport category by consumers.

Tech Brands Turkey, an award program that investigates the consumer brand perception of brands in technology in cooperation with NielsenIQ Turkey and Marketing, was prepared based on the answers given by the consumer audience in Turkey with open-ended questions in 41 different sectors, from white goods to insurance, from airlines to fuel. As a result of the report, it rewards the ranking brands.

The public jury involved in the research responds spontaneously to the brand they consider for each category, without any reminders or guidance.

Maximum passenger satisfaction with technological solutions

ISG offers its passengers all the services needed for a comfortable and enjoyable journey, from flight tracking to advantageous campaigns, with a mobile application. Sabiha Gökçen, which has implemented the system that allows passengers to go to their flights quickly and easily with their new chip ID cards without boarding passes, also offers the opportunity to produce boarding with an ID card, produce and paste the baggage tag and deliver it to the baggage system.

It accelerates the passenger traffic at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, where the passenger movement is monitored by measuring the entrance, security pass, passport control processes and waiting times of the passengers with the artificial intelligence supported image processing system.

With the e-passport application, which is another innovation that Turkey has met with OHS, Turkish citizens over the age of 18 have their passports with chips read at e-passport counters and complete their passport transactions in seconds by scanning their fingerprints and faces thanks to the biometric system.

In OHS, information flow is also provided to stakeholders in a fast and accurate manner by using the blockchain infrastructure.
