Examining the ongoing work in the project area, which was implemented in cooperation with the Highways, Mayor Aktaş said that there will be a significant relief in the traffic of both DOSAB and Demirtaş District, where the work is completed.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which has been working hard in Gaziantep İslahiye and Nurdağı and Hatay center since the first day of the disaster of the century, continues its investments in Bursa without slowing down. With the aim of providing uninterrupted and comfortable transportation in Bursa, Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone Junction connection roads have been added to investments such as the City Hospital connection road, Balıklıdere and Fuat Kuşçuoğlu bridges. The works started 1 month ago in the project, which will transform the bridge, which was previously completed by the Highways on the highway, into a junction with connection roads. While approximately 11 million TL of expenditure, of which approximately 3 million TL is for expropriation and 14 million TL for infrastructure displacement, is covered by the Metropolitan Municipality with the contributions of the businessmen in the region, the connection roads are also manufactured by the Highways.

Expressing that the highway connection, which is considered as a solution to the traffic problem, has been talked about for 8-10 years, Mayor Aktaş said, “We started this project that we dreamed of with the cooperation of highways and the support of our industrialists. We started the works about 1 month ago and we aim to get it together in 1,5 - 2 months, if possible. We, as the Metropolitan, made the expropriation and infrastructure displacement with the support of our industrialists. The bridge on the highway was already built by the Highways. Connection roads will also be implemented by the Highways. Thus, our citizens, who had to use the Organized Industrial Zone, will be able to easily reach Yalova road from Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara via the ring road without using the zoning roads. This place is 3 kilometers from Bursa connection junction and 6 kilometers from Samanlık Junction. Work continues in cooperation with the Metropolitan and Highways.
