Wooden coating and tree-patterned surface coating works are being carried out on the steel deck of the overpass that will provide pedestrian access to the natural life park Ormanya in the Kartepe district of Kocaeli. Elevator towers, facade glass installation works are carried out on the stairs of the overpass, flowerpots and handrail manufacturing works are continuing.
The pedestrian overpass, 45 meters long and 4 meters wide, built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Science Affairs Department, will provide pedestrian access to Ormanya over the D-100. The columns of the overpass will be concrete and the main beam will be steel construction and reinforced concrete slab. In terms of visual richness, flowers will be planted in the pots to be placed on the bridge, and the overpass columns will be made in the form of tree trunk cladding.
