Akkuyu Nuclear Inc. is organizing a creative competition for children this year on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Children and young people between the ages of 6 and 16 from all over Turkey can participate in the competition.
The competition, which includes children and young people living in the Republic of Turkey, will be held in two different age groups, 6-10 and 11-16. Participants will compete in three different categories: "Energetic Century" themed video shoot, "Atomic Superhero" themed drawing and "World-Changing Energy" themed painting. They will participate in their chosen category. The jury will evaluate the works of the participants in terms of technical performance, artistic expression and compliance with the competition theme. At the end of the competition, the top 3 from each age category will be the winners of the competition.
In their work, participants are asked to highlight the importance of building a nuclear power plant to meet the growing energy demand and its role as a power source that will protect the environment for future generations, as nuclear energy does not cause greenhouse gases.
Applications for the competition, which started as of March 24, can be made until April 15. Applications should be sent to communications@akkuyu.com.

The winners will be announced on the website of AKKUYU NÜKLEER A.Ş. and the social media accounts of the company between 23-30 April 2023.
