The body of TIR driver Emin Ergün, who was caught in the flood waters in the flood disaster in Şanlıurfa, was found. Thus, the loss of life in the flood disaster rose to 21.

The body of the missing Ergün was found on the 15th day as a result of the efforts of the 100-person search and rescue team in and around Atatürk Dam Lake to find Emin Ergün, who was lost in the flood waters with the truck he used in Şanlıurfa on March 9. The front coupe and trailer of the TIR, which disappeared on March 15 after being caught in the flood waters at the Yalıntaş Neighborhood crossing of the highway connecting Bozova and Hilvan districts, was reached in the area where the rain water poured into the Atatürk Dam Lake.

The statement made by the Şanlıurfa Governor's Office is as follows;

“The lifeless body of TIR driver Emin Ergün, who disappeared with his TIR with 15 AHG 27 plate, which he was using on 644 March after being caught in the flood waters in the flood disaster on the Hilvan Highway in Bozova district of Şanlıurfa province, Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) and Gendarmerie Underwater Search and Rescue teams As a result of the searches carried out by technical equipment and divers, on March 24, at 13.17 hours, 2 km from the shore, within the Atatürk Dam and 10 m. It was found by the Underwater Search and Rescue team and legal proceedings were initiated in line with the instructions of the Bozova Public Prosecutor.”
