Solidarity will prevail. Solidarity with earthquake survivor artists will bring art back to life. IMM Culture Department opens its stages to theater groups in the earthquake zone. Earthquake survivor theater groups are coming together in Istanbul for a solidarity tour. Not only theater groups, but also Hatay's world-famous Antakya Civilizations Choir and Hatay Academy Orchestra will perform the music of solidarity in Istanbul. The artists we lost in the earthquake will be commemorated.

IMM Culture Department is signing an exemplary project. It brings together the theater groups in the earthquake region. With the solidarity project, the Cultural Activities Directorate, affiliated to the IMM Culture Department, will give free stages to the theater teams in the provinces affected by the earthquake together with the Mediterranean Regional Theater Cooperative, as well as the plays in Istanbul between March 27 and 26, covering the 30 March World Theater Day. . The curtains on the stages of cultural centers will be opened for the theater artists who are victims of the earthquake.

ART WILL STAND UP

With the solidarity project that will continue throughout the year, the theaters in the region will take place on the IMM stages. A total of 5 theater plays, 3 adult and 8 children's plays, will be staged on World Theater Day. Art will rise again when the theater groups in the region affected by the earthquake take the stage.

Adana Performing Arts Center "Revived Tales", Adana Gülse Theater "Vikings Star Stone Necklace", Osmaniye Pano Kids/Theater Mavra "What Should I Tell You Today" and Adana Ekol Casting "Oh My Father Is At the Door", Hatay Common Stage "One of the People" Adana Reverans Sanat will stage the adult plays “Three Women and a Jar of Ash”, Tarsus City Theater “Wall”, Hatay Nar Sahne “Bağ” free of charge in IMM cultural centers. ANTAKYA MENEDİYETLER CHOIR AND HATAY ACADEMY ORCHESTRA WILL PERFORM IN ISTANBUL

The solidarity project of the IMM Culture Department will not be limited to theater groups. The world-famous Antakya Civilizations Choir and Hatay Academy Orchestra will also take the stage in Istanbul. IMM Orchestras Directorate, Hatay Academy Orchestra and Antakya Civilizations Choir will come together and become a partner in this solidarity. During the solidarity process that will continue throughout the year, two music ensembles will give concerts together with the IMM Orchestras Directorate. The first concert of the “Music of Solidarity” project is with the IMM Orchestras Antakya Civilizations Chorus on Friday, 31 March at 21.00, the second concert is the IMM Orchestras; It will take place with the Hatay Academy Orchestra on Saturday, April 1 at 21.00 at the Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall.

HATAY'S FIRST AND ONLY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Ali Uğur, who is also its founder, is the conductor of the Hatay Academy Orchestra, which consists of professional musicians, music teachers, conservatory graduates and conservatory students. The orchestra, which is the first and only symphony orchestra of Hatay and acts as a whole with the Hatay Polyphonic Choir, defines itself as a transformation movement in the field of culture and art.

NOBEL PEACE PRIZE NOMINATED choir

The Antakya Civilizations Choir was founded in 2007 to build a bridge between civilizations and to convey messages of peace, tolerance, brotherhood and love through music. Bringing together Alevi, Sunni, Armenian, Orthodox, Catholic and Jewish people and promoting Hatay's cultural richness and tolerance to the whole world, the choir was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2012. Yılmaz Özfirat is the conductor of the choir.

ARTISTS WE LOSE IN THE EARTHQUAKE WILL BE REMEMBERED

Hatay Academy Orchestra musicians Büşra Kırkıcı Zateri, Cansu Çilingir, Abdurrahman Düzgün and Ali Yılmaz, members of the Antakya Civilizations Choir Mehmet Özdemir, Gizem Dönmez, Hakan Samsunlu, Pınar Aksoy, who lost in the earthquake after the disaster, with the "Music of Solidarity" project initiated by the IMM Culture Department, Fatma Çevik, Müge Mimaroğlu and Ahmet Fehmi Ayaz will be commemorated.
