Pelin Alpkökin, Deputy Secretary General of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), said that the design and technical approvals for the Sefaköy-Beylikdüzü-Tüyap Metro project have been completed and the tender process will begin once it is included in the Presidency Public Investment Program.

Pelin Alpkökin, Deputy Secretary General of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), made statements about the Sefaköy-Beylikdüzü-Tüyap Metro project.

Alpkökin said, “The designs and technical approvals of the Sefaköy-Beylikdüzü-Tüyap Metro are complete. "Our talks with the EBRD and other financial institutions are progressing," he said.

Making statements with the map of the line he shared on Twitter, Alpkökin said, “The tender process will begin with its inclusion in the Presidential Public Investment Program. With this line, we want to bring nearly 4 million Istanbul residents in the Western region, which does not have metro access, to the metro they have been waiting for since the beginning of the 2000s.”
