Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a penalty against Udinese in his first match for AC Milan in over a year, making him the oldest goalscorer in Serie A history on March 18.

Experienced striker Ibrahimovic, who was recalled to the Swedish national team a short time ago, smashed the penalty at home in the second attempt in the first half stoppage, making the score 1-1.

He missed the first point kick, but when Beto was penalized for rape he was given a second chance and landed his shot in the middle of the goal.

At 41 years 166 days, Ibrahimovic has surpassed former AC Milan defender Alessandro Costacurta as the oldest player in Italy's top flight.

However, Milan entered the time-out one goal behind, as Beto made up for his mistake by scoring a goal at halftime.

Ibrahimovic was named to Milan coach Stefano Pioli's starting line-up for the first time since January last year and handed over the captain's armband.

He has played as a substitute three times this season, after being out of the field since May last year following anterior cruciate ligament reconstructive surgery in his left knee.
