Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that 102 thousand 3 personnel, including 995 administrative personnel and 4 thousand 97 teachers, were transferred from the ten provinces where the earthquake disaster occurred to other provinces.

The right to relocate twice a year, depending on an excuse, by the Ministry of National Education was increased to three this year due to the earthquake. The right to relocate due to an excuse covers contracted/permanent teachers and other personnel working under the Ministry of National Education in the provinces in the region where a state of emergency has been declared.
