As much as we love to watch Netflix series, they don't last forever. These days, more than ever, we face the grim reality that a significant portion of the broadcaster's series will be canceled after one, two or three seasons. However, not every show is canceled (despite how it may seem).
Netflix has been known for delivering multi-season renewals for shows like Bridgerton, Emily in Paris, Virgin River, and allowing our favorite shows to outrun their latest skirmishes. In 2023, we believe our favorite shows will come to the fore.

Netflix series canceled and renewed
There are several Netflix still awaiting information about their fate beyond their final seasons, including the likes of Alice in Borderland, Shadow and Bone, and Ginny & Georgia. More titles will be added to this list as additional show premieres in 2023.
Unfortunately, the multilingual German mystery sci-fi series 1899 was the first Netflix cancellation in 2023. The news broke on January 2, when the show's creator announced the shocking cancellation after only one season aired almost two months ago.

On March 24, just weeks after You finished its two-episode run of season 4, Netflix announced the series' fate. Although some believe that the series does not need to continue after season 4, in fact, the fifth and final season will air in 2024.
After some of the worst cancellations, we can expect only positive news about our favorite Netflix series from now on, but we should always be prepared for the possibility of some not-so-good news. Let's come to all the renewed, canceled and finished series this year.
