Bursa's future urban transformation

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş reminded that Bursa, located in the earthquake zone, is faced with the reality of disaster and said, “The future of the city is in urban transformation. This transformation will either take place in our hands in a controlled and planned manner, or unfortunately, the loss of lives due to the earthquake will be a waste of national wealth. The choice is ours. Every step we take to ensure that Bursa has a future will lead to urban transformation. We do not see this work as a routine activity carried out by municipalities as a duty. As the scene we see on the screens every day clearly shows, this job is equivalent to saving the lives of our citizens. With this understanding, we see urban transformation as a high goal.”
