However, Üsküdar Municipality and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change took care of a handful of operators. The invaders were protected.
10 OF 7 ILLEGAL BUSINESSES ARE STILL PROTECTED
IMM carried out the demolition of 10 of the 3 illegal businesses occupying the walking paths of the people, which covered the image on the Salacak beach with a view of the Maiden's Tower and the historical peninsula. The zoning plan was changed by Üsküdar Municipality. The change was immediately approved by the ministry. Accordingly, 431 cafes on 4 islands and 359 businesses on 367 and 3 Islands, where plans were changed, were taken under protection.
IMM ALWAYS DONE WHAT THE LAW SAY
IMM has acted within the framework of its authority since the beginning. He took legal action. For illegal buildings, the IMM Directorate of Real Estate applied to the Üsküdar District Governorship with an official letter of release. The legal request was not responded to. He objected to the stay of execution decisions. Similar decisions were made for illegal structures on the title deed belonging to IMM. While the court process continues, it was claimed that some illegal structures were in the special environmental protection zone. The reason was given that the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change is authorized in this regard and that these illegal businesses have received a Building Registration Certificate. IMM, determined to save Salacak Beach, one of the most beautiful spots in Istanbul, from occupation, is waiting for the completion of the court processes. As soon as the decisions are made, the demolitions will continue from where they left off.
