WHO IS KAZIM AKSAR?

Kazım Akşar (born on 23 August 1953, Balıkesir – died on 28 February 2023) is a Turkish actor.

Kazım Akşar was born on August 23, 1953 in the Burhaniye district of Balıkesir. In 1970, he entered the Children's Hour program on the radio. He took part in Radio, Back Tomorrow, Microphone Theater, as an actor and director. He graduated from Ankara State Conservatory Theater High Department in 1978. He started working as an actor in the State Theaters in 1979.

Sent to England by the State in 1986-1987. with Peter Hall at the National Theatre; He worked as an assistant on Entertaining Strangers (David Edgar), The Winter's Tale (Shakespeare), The Tempest (Shakespeare) and Cymbeline (Shakespeare).

In 1988, he taught at the Theater Department of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography for 4 years. He worked as a lecturer at METU and Kadir Has University. She continues to teach at Dialog Lecture Communication School. Apart from Akşar State Theatres, he acted and directed in private theaters such as Theater Istanbul and Theater Ayna. He lives in Akyaka.
