Competing in the 16th Mediterranean Handball Confederation U17 Girls Championship, our U17 Girls National Handball Team won all three matches in the group and advanced to the final group.
The national team defeated Tunisia 27-15 in the first match they played yesterday, and then defeated the host Greece 19-17 in the match they played. The U32 National Team, which also won 24-17 in the Romanian match it played today, finished their group as the leader and advanced to the final group.
In the match played at the Traida Sports Hall in Nafplio, Greece, the National Team won all three periods 9-3, 8-6 and 10-6 against Tunisia in their first match and won the match 27-15 and got five points.
In the other match played yesterday, the U17 Girls National Team faced the host Greece. While Greece was leading 7-4 in the first period, our national teams were ahead 9-5 in the second period and 6-5 in the third period, winning the match 19-17 and putting four points on the table.
In his last match in the group, he won the match against Romania with the scores of 9-10, 8-12 and 7-10 in all three periods, and scored five points. With these results, our national team finished the group leader with 14 points. After the group matches in the championship are completed tomorrow, the final group fixture will be determined.
In the championship where nine countries compete, the matches are played over three periods, one point is awarded for each period won, half for the period ending in a draw, 2 points for the winning team, and one point for each draw.
