Stating that they are carrying out a marketing strategy to add value to Turkish natural stone, Aegean Mineral Exporters' Association Chairman of the Board İbrahim Alimoğlu said that they will meet with architectural firms on February 6, 2023 within the scope of the "England Natural Stone Sectoral Trade Delegation", and to provide the architects with Turkish natural stone to use Turkish natural stone in their prestigious projects. emphasized that they will make a presentation about the rich color and pattern features of natural stones.
Reminding that they organized a "British Natural Stone Sectoral Trade Delegation" to England in 2018 within the scope of the URGE Project titled "Development of Design-Oriented Exports in the Processed Natural Stone Industry", which they implemented with the support of the Ministry of Commerce, Alimoğlu said, "Architects are the decision makers in the use of our natural stones in prestigious projects in England. In our 2018 trade delegation, we met with more than 50 famous British architects, including the famous British architecture offices such as Zaha Hadid, Stanton Williams, Squire&Partnerk, Simpson Haugh, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, Wilkinson Evre, Adjaye Associates. This time, we will include new architectural offices in the ring,” he said.
Expressing that they will visit importer companies on the second day of the “England Natural Stone Sectoral Trade Delegation”, Alimoğlu said, “We will visit the Surface Design Show Fair on February 8, 2023 in England. At this fair, we will organize a network cocktail with our Turkish exporters, importers and architects. We will bring together the 360-degree sides of the natural stone industry here," he said.
President Alimoğlu, who informed that the strong players of the Turkish natural stone industry will bring together 15 authorized names from 16 companies, natural stone importers and architects in England, on Thursday, February 9, 2023, President Alimoğlu concluded his words as follows:
