The number of dead and injured in Kahramanmaraş, Adana, Gaziantep, Malatya, Osmaniye, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman and Hatay is being questioned one by one. Two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 centered in Kahramanmaraş province Pazarcık and a magnitude 7.6 centered in Elbistan occurred. After the earthquakes, 2.724 aftershocks occurred.

According to the latest information received from SAKOM, a total of 31.643 citizens lost their lives in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ. 158.165 disaster victims were evacuated from the region to other provinces.

A total of 35.495 search and rescue personnel, consisting of AFAD, PAK, JAK, JÖAK, DİSAK, Coast Guard, DAK, Güven, Fire Brigade, Rescue, MEB, NGOs and international search and rescue personnel, are working in the region. As a result of the negotiations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the number of search and rescue personnel from other countries is 9.793.

In addition, the total number of personnel working in the region is 238.459, together with the number of field personnel assigned from AFAD, Police, Gendarmerie, MSB, UMKE, Ambulance Teams, Volunteers, Local Security and Local Support Teams.

Excavators, tractors, cranes, dozers, trucks, water trucks, trailers, graders, vacuum trucks, etc. A total of 12.322 vehicles, including construction equipment, were shipped.

More than 40 Governors, 152 Civil Administrative Officers, 19 AFAD top managers and 68 provincial directors have been assigned to disaster areas. In addition, 13 ambassadors and 17 Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel were assigned to the region for the coordination of international aid.

An air bridge has been established to transport personnel and materials to the region. A total of 170 sorties were carried out with 76 helicopters and 4.097 planes affiliated with the Air Force, Land Forces, Navy, Coast Guard Command, Gendarmerie General Command, General Directorate of Security, Ministry of Health and General Directorate of Forestry.

A total of 24 ships, 2 by the Naval Forces Command and 26 by the Coast Guard Command, were assigned to the region for personnel, material shipment and evacuation.

Disaster Shelter Group

10 tents and 206.357 blankets were shipped to 2.072.848 provinces that were heavily affected by the earthquake by AFAD, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Red Crescent and international countries and organizations. The installation of 155.379 Family Life Tent has been completed.

Disaster Nutrition Group

A total of 334 mobile kitchens, 86 catering vehicles, 33 mobile bakeries and 252 service vehicles were sent to the region from the Red Crescent, AFAD, MSB, Gendarmerie and Non-Governmental Organizations (IHH, Hayrat, Beşir, Initiative Associations).

In the disaster area, 16.208.638 hot meals, 3.648.010 soups, 13.295.356 water, 18.909.911 breads, 9.506.375 refreshments, 1.787.341 beverages were distributed.

Disaster Psychosocial Support Group

4 Mobile Social Service Centers were assigned to the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Osmaniye and Malatya. 2.552 personnel and 384 vehicles were dispatched to the region. Psychosocial support was provided to a total of 166.703 people, 26.791 in the earthquake zone and 193.494 outside the earthquake zone.
