The 7.7 magnitude earthquake, the epicenter of which was in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş, and the aftershocks that followed, caused heavy damage in 10 provinces in the region.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İİBB) Teams were deployed in Hatay in line with AFAD's direction. In addition to the search and rescue efforts, the wounds of the citizens of the city began to heal with aid and hot food services.
İBB Support Services Department started to serve with a mobile kitchen that produces meals for 6 thousand people daily. Citizens who survived the disaster showed great interest in hot food.
