In a report titled "Analysis of 2022 Tourism Economy and Forecast of Developments in 2023" announced by the Tourism Research Institute, it is estimated that tourism activities will increase in 2023 and approach the pre-epidemic period. The institute's income expectation is at the level of 4 trillion yuan.

The tourism market in China is expected to enter a new phase in terms of supply optimization during the second quarter of the year. The tourism market will likely see a full revival next summer. Indeed, there is an expectation that the expectations for the coming summer will approach or even catch up to the pre-Covid-19 epidemic level.

On the other hand, the same report estimates that the number of Chinese tourists will reach around 2023 billion in 4,55. This number represents an increase of 80 percent compared to a year ago, and corresponds to a return of about 2019 percent of the 76 level.
