GAZİRAY Metro Route, Map and Stops

The construction process of Gaziray started in 2011. The project, the foundation of which was laid on April 21, 2018, was originally planned to be put into service in 2019, but due to the delay in the cut-and-cover tunnel area, it was put into service on November 5, 2022. The project is a joint venture between TCDD and Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality with the aim of modernizing the existing single-track railway to four lines, removing level crossings, renovating existing stations, constructing a 3,640 kilometers (2,262 mi) cut-and-cover tunnel and new stations. The system is also part of the significant improvements along the Mersin - Adana - Osmaniye - Gaziantep high standard railway corridor and is the eastern last link of the railway line. So, what are the Gaziray Suburban metro stops? Where does it pass? What is the passenger capacity? Here are the details.

Gaziray is a commuter train system serving in Gaziantep, Turkey. The line, which is 25,532 kilometers (15,865 mi) long and has 16 stations, entered service on 5 November 2022. İZBAN is the fourth suburban train system in the country after Marmaray and Başkentray.

Gaziray's name is a combination of the words "Gaziantep" and "rail", similar to other rail transport systems in Turkey.
