Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) President Ekrem İmamoğludonated his 1-year salary to earthquake victims.
Earthquakes with magnitudes of 7,7 and 7,6 in Kahramanmaraş caused great destruction in 10 provinces. Search and rescue operations in Şanlıurfa and Kilis have been completed. In 8 provinces, many teams continue to work under the coordination of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
Immediately after the earthquake, IMM sent 311 search and rescue teams and 20 construction machines, 6 trucks with a daily production capacity of 15 thousand people and 2 thousand bread production capacity, and has sent 120 more trucks containing basic supplies to Hatay so far.
Meanwhile, it was learned that İBB President İmamoğlu donated his 1-year salary to meet the needs of earthquake victims.
