The industrialists' aid to the earthquake region continues uninterruptedly. Priority materials determined by AFAD, KIZILAY, local/foreign search and rescue teams and non-governmental organizations are delivered to the earthquake zone under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

Many critically important materials and equipment, from caravans to multi-purpose containers, from generators to cranes, are shipped to earthquake zones on a 24-hour basis. Warehouses where aid materials are collected, mobile kitchens, lighting projectors and mobile bathrooms and toilets are also sent to the earthquake zone.

LOOKING AT PRIORITY

Aid from the management of Organized Industrial Zones all over the country is prioritized at the crisis desk and sent to the earthquake zone without delay. One of these materials and equipment is containers. Office-type containers with two rooms, a kitchen and a toilet were started to be installed in disaster areas in order to provide the most basic need of the earthquake victims with shelter.

GENERATOR SUPPORT

So far, 5 thousand generators have been shipped to the region in order to both meet the electricity need and assist in search and rescue activities. Also, trucks and containers that were converted into caravans for the shelter and other needs of the earthquake victims were also delivered to the region.

52 CRANES ARE IN THE REGION

100 thousand work gloves used by search and rescue teams when removing debris and which they had to change periodically because they were worn out were sent to the region gradually. Construction equipment such as shovels and cranes are also vital in order to remove the debris from the buildings and save the citizens under the rubble. With the support of TSE, 52 large-tonnage cranes were sent to disaster areas and started to be used for this need.

97 THOUSAND HEATERS

Led projectors and additional lighting equipment, which allow search and rescue teams to work at night, were also delivered to the earthquake zone. In addition to these, 77 thousand 598 heaters were delivered to the regions for search and rescue and debris removal teams and earthquake victims. 20 heaters are already on the way. Many tools and equipment used by the search and rescue teams have been continuing to be delivered since the first moment of the earthquake with the coordination of the ministry.

PREFABRICATED BATHROOMS AND TOILETS

With the coordination of AFAD and Red Crescent in 7 provinces affected by the disaster, the establishment of new warehouses where all kinds of aid materials are collected was also organized. In order to meet the cleaning needs of earthquake victims, mobile prefabricated bathrooms and toilets have also started to be shipped to the disaster-affected areas.
