EXCAVATION WORK AT HATAY AIRPORT
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs teams are cleaning the excavation wastes at Hatay Airport, which was damaged by the earthquake.
Giving information on the activities attended by the teams going to the earthquake areas on their social media accounts, Yavaş said, “We have started working on reopening Hatay Airport to flights as soon as possible. Our colleagues are clearing the excavation wastes in the area," he said.

Ankara Public Bread Factory's Mobile Bakery Oven has started to produce hot bread for earthquake victims in Hatay and Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş. In addition, 455 thousand 632 pieces of bread were sent from the People's Bread Factory to the earthquake area in two days.
Belpa Kitchen distributes 45 meals of hot food, soup and water with 15 personnel and 3 vehicles.
HEALTH PERSONNEL IN THE EARTHQUAKE ZONE
The staff of the Women's Counseling Center affiliated to the Women's and Family Services Department started to work in Hatay in order to provide psycho-social support.

SAVE OVER 100 LIVES
Ankara Fire Department search and rescue teams, who were sent to the earthquake region by air and road after receiving the news that shocked Turkey, helped them to hold on to life by saving more than 100 lives under the rubble as a result of their work in the earthquake regions.
The teams in Hatay also take part in the extinguishing works of the fire in Iskenderun Port.
