Taha Duymaz, who lives with his family in the Güveççi Neighborhood of Yayladağı district, close to the Syrian border, and shares the local delicacies and different recipes he cooks in his 5 square meter kitchen with his 1,3 million followers on social media, said that he visited his aunt Hülya Demiralp (45) in the city center of Hatay, where he came a week ago. ) was caught in an earthquake at his home.
The house in Akevleri Mahallesi Saray Apartment Building was destroyed, Duymaz and his sister Melek Nur Duymaz, his aunt Hülya and his brother-in-law Cuma Demiralp (47) were left under the rubble.
Search and rescue teams had been working for days to get Duymaz out of the rubble. However, bitter news came from Taha Duymaz. Search and rescue teams found the lifeless bodies of Taha Duymaz and his siblings Melek and Umut Duymaz 12 days after the earthquake.
