The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) warned about the expected storm in the Eastern Black Sea, Southern Aegean and Western and Central Mediterranean.

The statement from MGM said:

“Storms are expected in our seas (Eastern Black Sea, Southern Aegean, and Western and Central Mediterranean). It is estimated that the wind in the Eastern Black Sea Region will blow from the west and northwest, and from the east to the southwest, as a storm with a strength of 6 to 8 (50-75 km / h), starting from tomorrow (Wednesday) morning hours. The storm is expected to lose its effect after the evening hours on Thursday.

It is estimated that the wind in the South Aegean will blow in the form of a storm with a strength of 6 to 8 (50-75 km/h) from the north, starting from the first hours of the morning tomorrow (Wednesday). The storm is expected to lose its effect in the morning hours on Thursday.

In the Western Mediterranean (Antalya Bay) and Central Mediterranean (Anamur-Silifke) winds, it is estimated that the wind will blow in the form of a 6 to 8 strength (50-75 km/hour) storm from the northern directions starting tomorrow (Wednesday) in the morning. The storm is expected to lose its effect by noon on Thursday.”
