There is good news for service vehicles from IMM. Vehicles will now be able to use İSPARK Car Parks free of charge, without time limit, instead of waiting on the streets. In the first phase, free service will be provided in five car parks with a capacity of 210 vehicles in Ataşehir, Bağcılar, Bakırköy, Şişli and Eyüpsultan districts. Three new points in Ataşehir and Esenler will be opened to the use of service vehicles. The project will continue to expand with new points in the future.
A new move came from İSPARK, a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), which broke new ground with its innovative applications and business models it brought to the parking lot sector. The first step has been taken in the action plan that will attract 66 thousand service vehicles from streets and alleys to İSPARK. A free parking lot project has been put into practice, which will put an end to random and inappropriate parking and practices that make it difficult for first aid vehicles to pass through in emergencies.
66 THOUSAND VEHICLES WILL BE FREE
İSPARK started the pilot application by determining the open parking areas that will provide free service to the shuttle vehicles on the Anatolian and European sides. In the first phase, five car parks with a capacity of 210 vehicles were put into service in Ataşehir, Bağcılar, Bakırköy, Şişli and Eyüpsultan districts. After five parking lots, three new points in Ataşehir and Esenler will be opened for the use of service vehicles in a short time. The free parking lot information and locations offered to the service vehicles can also be viewed on the İSPARK mobile application.
NO TIME LIMIT
İSPARK has placed warning signs to draw attention to the parking lot entrances that will serve free of charge. After the shuttles drop off their passengers at school and business centers, they will be able to use the İSPARK car parks opened for shuttle vehicles free of charge, without time limit.
CONVENIENCE FOR İSTANBUL residents
The free parking project for service vehicles also offers great convenience for pedestrians. Istanbulites will be able to easily get on the shuttles by going to the İSPARK parking lots, which are within walking distance, without waiting for the shuttles to arrive in front of the business centers.

İSPARK provides free parking for shuttles with 5 newly opened parking lots in 5 districts in order to provide Istanbulites with access to the most suitable transportation solutions during rush hour. Continuing its planning and feasibility studies to disseminate the project, İSPARK will continue to offer new parking spots to the use of service vehicles in many districts.
