Search and rescue efforts continue after the earthquake, the epicenter of which is Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and affecting 10 provinces in total. While responding to the demands received by the Disaster Emergency Crisis Desk established within the Ministry of National Defense after the earthquake, an "air aid corridor" was created to deliver search and rescue teams to the region.

However, the Turkish Armed Forces mobilized to help earthquake victims. In the regions affected by the earthquake, hot meals, food and bread were distributed to the citizens.

In addition, the field kitchens sent to the regions started their activities. In addition to these, mobile toilets and mobile bathrooms were also transferred to the earthquake-affected areas.

On the other hand, the Turkish Armed Forces established a logistic support base to deliver the aid to the earthquake victims faster. At the logistics base established in the Serinyol barracks, the aid sent to the region is classified. Afterwards, aid is rapidly dispatched to the needed areas by military vehicles under the coordination of AFAD.

Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, together with Chief of General Staff General Yaşar Güler and Land Forces Commander General Musa Avsever, made inspections at the logistics support base. Minister Akar, who received information about the works, gave instructions.
