Measures Taken Regarding Public Personnel Under the State of Emergency

According to the Presidential Decree on the Measures Taken Regarding the Public Personnel under the State of Emergency (OHAL) published in the Official Gazette today, those who work in public institutions or organizations, without being subject to the conditions and restrictions in the relevant legislation, due to the circumstances necessitated by the state of emergency, units or services.

Those assigned between institutions will receive their financial and social rights and aids from their institutions and will be considered on paid leave from their institutions for the duration of their assignment.

The personal rights of those who are temporarily assigned will continue and these periods will be taken into account in their promotion and retirement. Promotions will be made on time without the need for any other action. The time these employees spend in the institution where they are temporarily assigned will be deemed to have been spent in their own institutions. Requirements for acquiring academic titles will be reserved.

Those appointed in this context will be obliged to comply with the legislation of the institutions they are assigned to.
