Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. met with local and foreign tourists at Erciyes Ski Center managed by President Büyükkılıç stated that ski lovers from all over Turkey come to Erciyes and said, “All our tracks are full. Erciyes Ski Center deserves this.”
President Büyükkılıç visited the Erciyes Ski Center, which is one of the most important centers of Turkey with its 112 ski tracks of 41 kilometers in the field of mountaineering and winter sports, and 19 mechanical facilities, which is a tourist attraction in Kayseri.
Büyükkılıç met with local and foreign tourists at the Kayseri Erciyes Ski Center, which is overflowing with ski lovers.
Ski enthusiasts who came to visit Erciyes Ski Center from outside the city thanked President Büyükkılıç for the investments and services.
“ALL OUR RUNWAYS ARE FULL”
Evaluating the interest in Erciyes Ski Center, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “We hope and pray that more snow will fall in the coming days. Because snow is very important to us, it is a means of abundance. Thank God, in that sense, our Erciyes wore a white wedding dress, but Erciyes dressed in this wedding dress has a meaning with skiers in the ski resort. Currently, all our tracks are full, and our citizens benefit from our ski tracks by coming from within the city, from outside the city, and from abroad. Almost all of them come from outside the city,” he said.

Describing Erciyes as the flagship of tourism with its opportunities and potential, Büyükkılıç said, “We once again share that such a facility, which is the flagship of tourism with its 19 mechanical facilities, 41 runways and a track length of 112 kilometers, is a great achievement for our country and our city. Here we share our healthy, peaceful and skiing wishes to our skier friends. The weather is beautiful, the sun is shining, the snow is like that, all that remains is to ski.”
WORKS TO DEVELOP SKI CULTURE FROM METROPOLITAN
Mentioning that they are working devotedly to develop the ski culture in Kayseri, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “Although it is weekdays, everywhere is full and our tracks are really rich. In a way, it is a gain of the semester break. Our citizens from Kayseri also come at different times. We can say that the ski culture in Kayseri is not at the level we desire. We have ski courses to provide that too. We also make the necessary self-sacrifice in this regard. I hope we continue to encourage and encourage our young people even more," he said.
Büyükkılıç stated that he asked the guests coming to Erciyes from all over Turkey where they came from and said:
“We have heard almost from 81 provinces. We have guests from home and abroad. When I asked where they came from, I was able to find 19 person from Kayseri as the 1th person. It also delights and delights us. So, outsiders come to this city for skiing. Erciyes Ski Center deserves it. I say welcome to our guests, they brought joy.”
