Izmir Metropolitan Municipality teams, who participated in the search and rescue efforts in the earthquake area, rescued another citizen from the rubble from Melek Apartment in Hatay at the 102nd hour of the earthquake.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which sent search and rescue teams to the disaster area from the first moments of the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, in which thousands of people lost their lives in 10 provinces, continues to save lives under the rubble. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality teams rescued a person named Yusuf Şahin from the rubble from Melek Apartment, located on 597th street in Mustafa Kemal Neighborhood, in Iskenderun district of Hatay, where the earthquake was the heaviest. While Yusuf Şahin was quickly transferred to the hospital, the teams continue to work to save other people who showed signs of life in the same apartment.
