BOTAŞ announced that the repair works for the damage occurred in the natural gas main transmission lines after the earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and 7.6 in the center of Elbistan continue uninterruptedly.
The written statement from BOTAŞ is as follows:
“Our teams continue their repair work at the points where damage occurred in the natural gas main transmission lines after the earthquakes with a magnitude of 06.02.2023 in the center of Elbistan at 04.17 and 7.7 in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş province at 13.24 on 7.6. All of our teams are on the field under very difficult weather and terrain conditions, and our work continues uninterruptedly in order to provide safe gas flow to our citizens in coordination with the natural gas distribution companies in the region.
