IYI Party Sakarya Provincial Presidency went to the region to support the citizens affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş. After the earthquake, the IYI Party Sakarya Provincial Presidency took action to heal the wounds. IYI Party Sakarya Provincial President Fatih Akgün and his accompanying delegation, listed as urgent needs; delivered many aid materials such as diapers, blankets, heaters, socks, coats, gloves, sleeping bags, water, hygiene materials, boots, boots, shoes, underwear sets, berets, toilet paper, batteries, cans and pillows to those in need.
After the 10 and 7,7 magnitude earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş's Pazarcık and Elbistan districts and affecting 7,6 provinces, an aid collection center was established by the IYI Party Sakarya Provincial Presidency. Emergency aid materials prepared with the contributions of IYI Party Sakarya Provincial and District Organizations to be sent to earthquake regions were sent by trucks.
IYI Party Deputy Chairman and Sakarya Deputy Ümit Dikbayır, IYI Party Sakarya Provincial President Fatih Akgün, IYI Party Organization President Gökhan Kaçar, IYI Party Serdivan District President Ahmet Plane, Sakarya Deputy Candidate Candidate Selçuk Kılıçaslan, Provincial Executive Member Kerem Durmuş, Adapazarı Council Members Hüseyin AkÇalışkan and İsmail Zortul participated in the works to heal the wounds of the earthquake at the points where humanitarian aid materials were collected and sent to the earthquake area.
President Akgün stated that their assistance has continued since the first day of the earthquake and said, “We are facing one of the biggest disasters in the history of the world, as stated by earthquake scientists. Our Sakarya organization has mobilized all its means. Today is the day of unity, of being one heart for Turkey. First of all, I wish God's mercy to all our brothers who lost their lives in the earthquake, and healing to our injured brothers. Condolences to our nation." said.
