Deciding to focus on space research in order to detect and take precautions against natural disasters, China announced that it will launch two more meteorological satellites this year.

In this context, Fengyun-3F, which is planned to be launched in August, will be used in weather forecasting, ecological environment and disaster monitoring studies.

The Fengyun-3G satellite, which is expected to be launched in April, will be used as China's first low-inclination orbital precipitation measurement satellite to monitor heavy precipitation in the disaster weather system. So far, China has launched a total of 19 weather satellites. These satellites provide data products and services to 126 countries and regions.
