Railway workers in the Özalp district of Van delivered the aid boxes they prepared to be sent to the region after the earthquake disaster to the authorities.
After the 10 and 7.7 magnitude earthquakes affecting 7.6 provinces in Kahramanmaraş, the railway workers in Özalp district took action. Railway workers, who bought baby food, diapers, blankets, winter boots and clothing materials to be sent to the earthquake zone with the money they collected, delivered the aid boxes they prepared to the authorities. Chief Engin Ahi, who stated that the parcels will be delivered to those in need through the District Governor's Office and the municipality, said, "As the Railway Özalp Station Chief, we delivered the materials we bought when the ant was dark to the officials within the aid campaign initiated by the Özalp District Governorate and the municipality. We know this pain best because we experienced the earthquake,” he said.
