Announcement on Drug Supply and Prescription Practices in a Natural Disaster Area

Due to the earthquakes that took place in Kahramanmaraş on 06.02.2023, the applications of our citizens living in Adana, Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa provinces and districts to health service providers and the supply of medicines and/or medical supplies that are constantly used will be experienced. The following measures have been taken to prevent grievances:

In this context, the persons covered by the General Health Insurance residing in the disaster area;

1-) Procurement of drugs and continuously used medical supplies to be purchased in return for a health report, for once, without a prescription within the scope of the Health Implementation Communiqué,

2-)

a. Exemption from the examination participation fee in the applications made to the health service providers contracted with the Institution in the disaster area,

b. Medicines to be used from pharmacies contracted with our Institution within the scope of "Protocol on the Supply of Medicines from Turkish Pharmacists' Association Member Pharmacies for Persons Covered by the Social Security Institution" and/or from centers contracted with our Institution within the scope of "Contract on the Supply of Ready Medical Equipment Used in Outpatient Treatment" or based on a health report. / or non-receipt of drug, prescription and medical equipment contribution fees for continuously used medical supplies,

3-) Postponing the inspection participation fees arising before 02.2023 and not yet collected, to be collected later,

4-) Ensuring that the drugs and medical supplies of the citizens residing in the disaster area until 02.2023 are arranged so that the expiry dates of the drugs or medical supplies procured from the pharmacies/centers contracted with the Agency are 06.02.2023,

5-) Removal of mandatory IP application in health service providers (pharmacies/centers) contracted with the Institution in the disaster area,

6-) The invoice/prescription delivery period of all health service providers operating in the disaster area for the January-February 2023 period, and the deadlines for objections whose last day is before 31/03/2023, and the deadlines for the objection evaluation commission until the end of the working hours of 31/03/2023. extension,

Necessary arrangements have been made regarding the issues and transactions will be carried out within this scope.
