Art lovers came together at the 'Wood Burning Exhibition' held in Üsküdar. Works prepared by Yaşar Kaygun, one of the masters of wood burning art, by processing wood with fire, are presented in the exhibition.
Organized by Üsküdar Municipality at Altunizade Culture and Art Center and opened last night, the 'Wood Burning Exhibition' opened its doors to art lovers. The exhibition will host art lovers until January 14.
“Wood is the basis of all art branches”
Speaking at the opening, Üsküdar Municipality Director of Cultural Affairs, Mesut Fruitci, said, “Wood, by its nature, is at the base of paper and all branches of art. Today, our teacher Yaşar himself talked about it a little bit, and today he shares the cultural accumulation he has created by working for many years and taking lessons from different teachers with us today.”
