Bursa Metropolitan Municipality spent the year 17 to the fullest with investments that will increase the quality of life in the city, especially in transportation and infrastructure, at more than 600 construction sites in 2022 districts. The Metropolitan Municipality, which made a great contribution to the world-wide promotion of the city by giving Bursa the title of Cultural Capital of the Turkish World in 2022, completed all the demolition in the Hanlar Region Çarşıbaşı Square Project, which will mark the future of Bursa, and started the production of applications.

First priority is transportation.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality prepared its 2023 budget with a performance-oriented approach and allocated the lion's share of investments to transportation with 22 percent. While it is planned to complete the Hanlar District Çarşıbaşı Parking Lot and Square Arrangement and the Çekirge Terrace Project in the urban transformation area, the Istanbul Street and Yiğitler Esenevler 75. Continuing its efforts with the aim of bringing 3 million square meters of new green space to Bursa, the Metropolitan Municipality will bring the 75th Anniversary Recreation Area, Demirtaş Recreation Area, Gökdere National Garden and Yunuseli Çamlık Park to Bursa this year.

In the field of culture and tourism, where a total investment of 345 million 425 thousand 500 TL is planned, it is aimed to complete the restorations of the Historical Iznik Walls, Yenişehir Gate and Agricultural School, and the Gemlik Thermal Tourism Facility, Çekirge Bayraktepe and Ertuğrulbey Square Applications.

The Metropolitan Municipality will not compromise on health and social services this year. Aiming to reach 16 thousand people with Card 15, the Metropolitan Municipality plans to introduce 7 new baby arms to Bursa residents.

In addition to all these, the constructions continue such as Havuzlupark Facilities, Mustafakemalpaşa Youth and Culture Center, Karacabey Cultural Center, Uludağ University Sports Center, Arabayatağı Market Area, Gülbahçe Family Health Center, Stray Animals Rehabilitation Center, Orhaneli Youth Camp, Cerrah Sports Facility and Yenibağlar Sports Facility. The investments are expected to be completed within the year.
