With the aim of positioning Turkey as the “World's Talent Base”, Career Fairs, which have been successfully carried out for four years in 23 different points of our country and 14 different points in the world, under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office, are starting this year with thematic fairs to be held in 3 cities at an international level.
For the first time in 300.000, the Century of Turkey, with the on-site participation of approximately 2023 young people; “International Health, Aesthetics and Medical Career Fair” will be held in İzmir, “International Agriculture and Forestry Career Fair” in Adana and “International Finance, Trade, Logistics and Informatics Career Fair” in Istanbul. To the said fairs; Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and Presidency Digital Transformation Office, Presidency Finance Office and Presidency Investment Office will be partners. In addition to the Offices of the Presidency and related Ministries, university career centers will also assume responsibility at the Fairs.
International Career Fairs; It will bring together all parties interested in the field, including participating institutions and organizations from our country and the world, educational institutions, industry professionals, young people who continue their education in this field or graduate. The fairs will contribute to increasing employment, sharing new developments, establishing a professional communication network between the parties and supporting entrepreneurship by raising awareness of our human resources, especially young people, about the relevant sectors.
The reason for choosing each province to host the Fairs, which will include many career events that will support the employability of young people such as interviews, information sessions, interviews, case studies and workshops, lies in the characteristics of the provinces in question related to the Fair themes.
İzmir, which will host the “International Health, Aesthetics and Medical Career Fair, on 17-18 February 2023; It is known for its establishment within the borders of the first hospital in history and for being referred to as "the place where death does not enter" and "the city where wills are not opened" since the Roman Period. With the Fair, which will carry the power of the past to the present, it is aimed to contribute significantly to the target of positioning İzmir as an international center of attraction for our country, which is among the top 10 in the world in health exports.
The Fair, under the partnership of the Presidency Human Resources Office and the Ministry of Health, will be organized under the presidency of Ege University with the cooperation of 18 universities in the Aegean Region, which have relevant departments, primarily faculties of medicine and health sciences.
“International Finance, Trade, Logistics and Informatics Career Fair” has been the center of trade routes such as Silk Road and Spice Road throughout history; It will be held on February 27-28, 2023 in Istanbul, which will be the key player of the "One Belt One Road" Project, the base of international trade and logistics, and the heart of this sector with its "Finance Center". To the Presidential Human Resources Office for the fair, which offers great opportunities for our human resources; Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and Presidency Digital Transformation Office, Presidency Finance Office and Presidency Investment Office are partners.
The reason why Adana was chosen for the "International Agriculture and Forestry Career Fair" to be held on March 9-10, 2023 is that it pioneered the use of technical tools and tractors in the agricultural field in the history of the Republic, and it also hosted the "Agriculture Fair", our first international fair in 1924. to have done.
In this Fair, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is the stakeholder of the Presidential Human Resources Office. The universities of Adana and Konya, which are pioneers in agriculture and agro-industrial production and have an important place in animal husbandry in Turkey, come together for our youth. The fair is under the chairmanship of Çukurova University; It is organized by Konya and Adana Universities.
The International Career Fairs, which will reach the members of the Organization of Turkish States and the Balkan countries, will eliminate physical and psychological distances and offer the opportunity for employers and young people to establish one-to-one contact. By making Turkey the meeting point of talents and companies from all over the world at all levels, it will contribute to transforming our country into a center of attraction for world-class talents and positioning it as the "World's Talent Base".
