TOMTAŞ Takes the First Step for the Land

The second meeting of the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality January 2023 Assembly Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Mehmet Savruk. While the 13-item agenda was decided at the meeting, the council unanimously accepted the request for an additional zoning plan for TOMTAŞ land in Fevzioğlu District of Kocasinan District.

The second meeting of the Metropolitan Municipality January 2023 Assembly Meeting was held in the Metropolitan Municipality Assembly Hall under the chairmanship of Mehmet Savruk, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality.

At the meeting, 13 agenda items were discussed and resolved.

Members of the Assembly decided that Erciyes Teknopark A.Ş., which is among the agenda items, in Kocasinan District, Fevzioğlu Mahallesi (Tanpınar Mahallesi in the land registry), 6925 plots 2 parcels, 6371 plots 6 and 7 plots and 6371 plots belonging to the Treasury of Finance. In the area where the immovables with parcel number 14 are located, 1/50.000 scaled environmental plan, 1/25.000 scaled master zoning plan amendment, 1/5000 scale master zoning plan and 1/1000 scaled implementation zoning plan, together with the request for an additional zoning plan. Discussed the Public Works Commission Report.

Speaking at the parliament, Commission President Bekir Yıldız made a statement on the subject and said:

“This is an area of ​​600 thousand square meters on the east and south sides of our airport. We have an adventure in an aircraft factory, the Aircraft Factory, which was previously located in the air supply center in Kayseri. It is known to most of us. With a new organization, the Ministry of Defense is reflected in Kayseri, and the name of the institution is TOMTAŞ, that is, the Aircraft Factory. By distributing shares from this TOMTAŞ to entrepreneurs in Kayseri, the foundation of the Aircraft Factory activity is laid here in Kayseri. Its feature is that it is close to the 12th Air Base and that it is close to our two airstrips, which makes it important to plan it. Hopefully it will be good. I am of the opinion that it will produce a good result for our city.”

Members of the Assembly unanimously accepted the report.

After the assembly meeting where the opinions of the members of the assembly regarding the articles were taken, Deputy Chairman Savruk wished that the decisions taken in the assembly would be beneficial.
